• this includes:
  • databases (postgresql and mysql)
  • smb/cifs windows shares on an intranet
  • intranet websites
    • rationalization:
      • file-shares lack link-structure metadata
      • ESer does not use such metadata for ranking
      • therefore, ESer algorithms are a great fit for ranking and searching through stand-alone textual data
• questions:

   2. if so, should the source-code be licensed as open-source?
